Hamilton has added to its Khaki Field Collection with the release of the Khaki Field Auto Chrono Watch. Mechanical field watches are among Hamilton’s most popular timepieces and the new Khaki Field Auto Chronograph now joins the collection. The new chronograph comes in at 44mm with a height of 14.15mm, unlike the comparatively small 38mm case diameter of the other Khaki Field Mechanicals. The stainless-steel case has a sandblasted matte finish and comes with the essential Chrono pushers at 2 and 4 o’clock.
The Khaki Field Auto Chrono is powered by Hamilton’s H-21 automatic chronograph caliber with a 60-hour power reserve. Its black dial has oversized white Arabic numerals which are molded from Super-LumiNova and stand at 0.35mm in height, offering excellent nighttime legibility. In addition, the triangular hour markers are formed from Super-Luminova, as well. The twin sub-dials at 12 and 6 o’clock are recessed with a 30-minute counter at the top and a 12-hour counter at the bottom. Small seconds sit at 9 o’clock and the central chronograph seconds hand has a red tip and circular counterweight. A special engraving can be found on the case back of the watch, paying tribute to Hamilton’s military heritage. The Khaki Field Auto Chrono is finished with a durable leather bund strap.
