Located in a mountain valley pass in the Japanese Alps between Nagoya and Nagano, Kitashitara-gu has been providing rest and refreshment for weary travelers for hundreds of years. Taking advantage of Kitashitara-gu’s abundance of pristine mountain water, Sekiya Brewery went into business in 1864 to treat these travelers to some truly exceptional sake. This legendary sake brewery now operates out of a state-of-the-art facility in Nagoya, where it recently released an exceptional new product: Enter Sake Black.
Featuring a rice polishing rate of 65 percent and an alcohol level of 15 percent, Enter Sake Black takes a clean and pure approach to sake production with a just a touch of white mountain flowers on the nose. Other subtle essences in the Enter Sake Black flavor pallet include peach, mango, and pineapple. Its unique flavor is supported by a cleansing acidity and an incredibly soft and silky texture.
Enter Sake Black is available in both 720mL and 1.8L bottles. Sekiya also packages this premier sake in single-serving, ready-to-drink cups. These handy 180mL cups debuted at the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games and continue to offer consumers the opportunity to enjoy sake on the go.
