Recently unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, the Milan-based Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera has announced their latest model, the Sciadipersia. The vehicle is based on the Maserati GranTurismo with an equally bold bodywork that’s like nothing else on the road. For the Sciadipersia, the GranTurismo’s front fascia is replaced with a more modern design that elegantly tapers into chrome accents. New headlights and a ventilated hood also punctuate the Italian masterpiece.

Further back the vehicle features custom fenders, a unique greenhouse and striking pillars punctuated with bright accents. A new window rests above the bespoke trunk and custom rear fascia in the back. A new paint finish in an attractive Orient Night Blue stuns in ways the original Maserati doesn’t.

While the exterior includes enough bells and whistles to fully differentiate the Sciadipersia from the GranTurismo, the interior of the Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera is more in line with the Maserati. The interior is well appointed with premium leather upholstery and aluminum accents.

As the car is a rebodied GranTurismo, it roars to life with the same Maserati-sourced powertrain. Under the hood, there’s a 4.7-liter V-8 engine that delivers 460 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque in a 6-speed automatic transmission.
