Cadillac has just unveiled its latest marvel, the Cadillac Sollei concept, a luxurious two-door drop-top that reimagines the all-electric elegance of the Cadillac Celestiq. Dubbed “the ultimate design expression of a coach-built luxury electric convertible,” the Sollei concept pushes the boundaries of bespoke luxury with a striking design and innovative features.

Drawing inspiration from the classic Cadillac colors of the late ’50s, the Sollei concept features a sleek exterior finished in Manila Cream. This nostalgic nod complements the concept’s long proportions and low stance, distinguishing it with a sophisticated two-door configuration. The Sollei’s extended doors and unique rear end set it apart from its four-door Celestiq counterpart.

Inside, the Sollei’s cabin is a blend of high-end materials and cutting-edge technology. It showcases Cadillac’s signature 55-inch pillar-to-pillar digital screen, first seen in the Celestiq. The interior is adorned with Fine Mycelium, a sustainable bio-based material developed by MycoWorks, used in the charging mats and door map pockets. This innovative material underscores Cadillac’s commitment to sustainability.

The luxurious features continue with a beverage chiller equipped with a power glass door and crystal glasses, customizable lighting zones offering 126 color options, and Fine Nappa leather with a pink iridescent pigment. Adding a unique touch, the Sollei incorporates a bird-watching theme with a custom case for 3D-printed bird calls and a hand-painted bird illustration journal.

Unveiled at Cadillac House at Vanderbilt within the GM Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan, the Sollei concept represents the pinnacle of Cadillac’s bespoke luxury offerings. This concept car not only reflects Cadillac’s rich heritage but also its vision for the future of electric mobility and sustainable luxury.
