In the world of luxurious off-road camper trailers, the name Bruder stands out among the best. The Australian-based company has earned a reputation for offering a superior quality that is as rugged as it is versatile, providing vast amenities in a compact package.

Recently, Bruder unveiled a new mid-range variant to its EXP lineup called the EXP-7. This model stands between the entry EXP-6 and the fully loaded EXP-8. More importantly, the Bruder EXP-7 serves as a vessel to host some of the best features of the EXP-6 and EXP-8.

The EXP-7 buyers have a choice of two configurations, fixed roof (GT) and pop-top (PT) style. As a pop-top, the trailer sleeps up to six people, while the GT sleeps up to four. Both models feature a queen-sized bed and a sofa lounge amidship. A bathroom with a hot/cold shower sink, vanity mirror, and composting toilet is standard with the EXP-7. The off-road camping trailer features a 200-liter freshwater tank to run the hot/cold outdoor shower and two doors to access the trailer’s interior from either side.

There’s even room to cook! A portable dual-burner induction cooktop, sink, kitchen countertop, and a central pantry hatch with outdoor access to food storage. Cold storage comes in the form of a slide-out 57-liter outdoor fridge/freezer next to the pantry, in addition to a 136-liter door fridge/freezer inside.

Dimensions on the Bruder EXP-7 measure 23 feet long, slightly longer than the EXP-8 and EXP-6. However, what makes these camper trailers stand out from the competition is Bruder’s four-season build quality allowing the trailer to withstand temperatures ranging from -22 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit and in altitudes over 10,000 feet.

Its square-tube chassis and marine-grade closed-cell composite body also help reduce vibrations. Underneath the trailer is a patented air suspension system with two mono-tube remote-canister shocks on each of the four wheels. Bruder claims the trailer can withstand five times its own weight. Moreover, it features off-the-grid amenities like remote water pickup and a 1,245 watts solar generator to power a 10-kWh lithium battery. A complete Bruder EXP-7 off-road camper trailer brochure is available on its website.
