Boston-based streetwear and sneaker boutique, Bodega, has teamed up with athletic shoe brand HOKA to launch a new collaborative hiking shoe. “The World at Large” Bodega x Hoka Tor Ultra Collection is the second collaboration between the two brands and combines HOKA’s expertise in creating high-performance hiking shoes with Bodega’s signature style.
The capsule will include both the low and high-top versions of the Tor Ultra hiking shoe. Both pairs feature a weather-resistant Gore-Tex material on the upper, with the low-top pair donning a tan makeup and the high-top shoe is dressed in purple. Bodega branding appears on the tongue tags, while a Vibram Megagrip outsole sits below.
The shoes feature this rugged outsole, perfect for all-terrain use, and a breathable mesh upper that is ideal for running or hiking. It also includes a unique lacing system that allows for a customizable fit and added support.
Bodega and Hoka have successfully blended style and functionality to create a unique and versatile hiking shoe that can be worn in a variety of settings. The Tor Ultras will be released on March 24 at the Bodega website at 12 p.m. ET and at Bodega’s Los angeles store starting at 11 a.m. PT. The Tor Ultra Low will be priced at $230 and the Tor Ultra Hi will come in at $250.
