Celebrating its world premiere at the 2018 LA Auto Show, the new BMW iNEXT promises “insight into the future of personal mobility” that will begin rolling off the BMW Group’s German Plant Dingolfing in 2021. The latest in BMW’s line of Vision Vehicles, the all-electric iNEXT promises incredibly futuristic technology that is firmly rooted in meeting the practical needs of drivers and passengers.
This decidedly human-centered design approach incorporates everything from our emotional wants and needs to explorations of the infinite possibilities of autonomous driving and real-time digital connectivity. The smart technology of the iNEXT will require neither screens nor buttons, and drivers will engage functions using surfaces such as the iNEXT’s Jacquard cloth upholstery.
The iNEXT also embraces innovation in terms of its exterior and interior aesthetics. Exterior features include a stunning, shade-changing Liquid Greyrose Copper paint finish and a “four-eyed” front end with super-slender headlights. Inside, the car is defined by welcoming colors such as warm rosé, brown, and beige with Mystic Bronze accents.
