A the result of unique partnership between Impuls (the master bike-building team of Phillip Wulk and Matthias Pittner) and award-winning artist Fabian Gatermann, the Impuls K101 is truly one part motorcycle and one part art object.

Using a well-preserved 1985 BMW K100 as a blank canvas, this collaborative art project involved Gatermann 3D scanning the K100 into a virtual design environment. His digital design improvements and embellishments (including a striking polygon pattern for both gas tank and seat) were later applied to the “real world” bike by hand.

Other custom features of this drivable work of art include a K1100 drivetrain, an extra long shock by wilbers, instruments and m-blaze disc turn signals by motogadget, a LiFePo4 Battery, and high-performance exhaust, fork, and air intake. Even better, with a few modifications (and a license plate) this bike is fully street legal.
