It arrives with a sleek black design that pays homage to a lunar mare, specifically the largest one found on the moon’s surface.
What sets the Blancpain X Swatch Scuba Fifty Fathoms The Ocean Of Storms apart is its construction. Crafted from bioceramic, a Swatch-patented material blending two-thirds ceramic with one-third bio-sourced material derived from castor oil, it stands as a symbol of sustainability. Even the NATO straps are environmentally friendly, made from recycled fishing nets. With water resistance down to 91 meters and powered by the Swatch mechanical movement, SISTEM51, boasts a 90-hour power reserve and anti-magnetic properties, it’s not just about looks.
The watch’s exquisite details don’t stop there. Flip it over, and you’ll find a digital print of the Ocean of Storms’ very own Okenia Luna nudibranch, a close-up image of the lunar feature on the oscillating weight, along with inspirational inscriptions.
