First introduced in 2019, the BR-05 had a gray dial, and later, a one-off Gold Blue Skeleton was introduced before a blue version was released in 2020. Fast forward to the present and Bell & Ross has announced the upcoming release of the new Bell & Ross BR 05 Skeleton Nightlum Watch, which dresses the skeleton movement in black with a hint of green. The timepiece is presented in a 40 mm satin-finished and polished steel case, paired to a screw-down crown with crown guard, with a sapphire case-back that offers a peek at the 360-degree oscillating weight.
For Bell & Ross, legibility is one of the brand’s guiding principles since the very beginning. Having explored the concept of luminescence over the years, LUM has become one of the watchmaker’s true hallmarks. The Skeleton Nightlum received a Super-Luminova treatment that facilitates reading during both the day and nighttime hours. The metal applique skeletonized indices and hands are filled with green-emitting Super-LumiNova C5. This particular type was chosen for its pale yet strong green daytime color and its exceptional brightness. At night, the pale green background of the Bell & Ross Skeleton Nightlum turns fluorescent green enabling the wearer to read the dial easily. Finally, the watch is complete with a black rubber strap for a sporty-chic silhouette or satin-finished and polished steel strap with folding buckle in satin-finished and polished steel for a touch of elegance suitable for black tie events.
