Beats has a new flagship over-ear headphone, and its defining feature is unusually physical: the Beats 360 lets owners swap both the earcup and headband cushions rather than treating them as permanent parts of the design. It is a practical customization system, but also a meaningful departure from the fixed construction of the Studio Pro.

The acoustic platform is new, with custom drivers and adaptive active noise cancellation that Beats says provides up to 1.75 times more total noise reduction than Studio Pro. Transparency mode and Adaptive EQ are joined by Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking, while nine MEMS microphones handle ANC and voice pickup. Battery life reaches 32 hours with ANC, and a five-minute Fast Fuel charge provides up to one hour of playback.

The hardware is also more workout-friendly than previous Beats over-ears. The 10.39-ounce design carries an IPX4 sweat- and water-resistance rating, folds flat, and ships with breathable Performance Knit cushions. Optional UltraPlush cushions trade that athletic emphasis for engineered-leather comfort. Apple and Android support includes one-touch pairing and platform-specific device-finding features.

The Beats 360 is available to order now for $349.99 in Black, Cloud, Pink, and Sky, with retail availability beginning September 24.
Additional cushion kits are $49.99, with a temporary $9.99 introductory price in select markets through October 31.
