Audi has lifted the covers off of their E-Tron Sportback Concept at the 2017 Shanghai Auto Show.

This four-seater Audi concept, which is on track for an officially launched in production form in 2019, is a sporty, all-electric hatchback with a range of more than 300 miles on a single charge of its liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery. Its three electric motors add up to 496 horsepower with boost mode engaged, giving it the ability to accelerate to 62 in just 4.5 seconds.

Design wise, the Audi’s take on the SUV-turned-coupe is definitely more appealing than BMW and Mercedes’ attempt at awkwardly morphing an SUV to take on a sloping coupe-like roofline.

With its tapered rear, slender LED headlights and sloping roofline, the Sportback looks like the sexiest way possible to save the planet while roaming free. Watch for it.
