The current generation of the Aston Martin DBS has reached an end after a five-year production life. But Aston Martin is not a company to let one of its most coveted models go away without a proper send-off. As a result, it has unveiled the Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate, a special limited-edition variant that coincides with the company’s 110th-anniversary celebration.
Aston Martin states that the DBS 770 Ultimate is the most powerful production model in its history. It features an updated spec of its twin-turbocharged 5.2-liter V12 engine producing 760 horsepower and 664 lb.-ft of torque. A ZF eight-speed automatic transmission sends the power to the rear wheels to propel the DBS 770 Ultimate to a top speed of 211 mph.
Moreover, the Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate features an exclusive new front splitter, a deeper rear diffuser, and a more dynamic horse-shoe vent. In addition, the entire vehicle has been updated mechanically to cope with the excess horsepower. It has improved engine cooling, suspension, steering, transmission shift point, and underbody structure to sharpen the DBS 770’s handling and agility.
Styling cues on the limited edition DBS 770 Ultimate include bespoke 21-inch wheels available in satin silver, satin black, or satin black with a diamond-turned finish. In addition, all-wheel options come wrapped in Pirelli P Zero high-performance tires as standard.
The Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate is limited to 499 examples globally, 300 coupes, and 199 Volantes. Production of the car starts during the first quarter of this year, with deliveries expected by fall 2023. However, as one would expect, all 499 examples of the DBS 770 Ultimate are already sold out. Maybe you’ll get a chance when one ultimately goes for auction in the future.
