The unveiling of the iPhone 11 was the keynote presentation at the Apple Fall Special Event. From its improved processing capability to its user-focused camera enhancements, the newest iPhone updates Apple’s phone lineup without breaking any new grounds.
The iPhone 11’s dual-camera design features 12MP Wide and Ultra Wide lenses, which offers 2x optical zoom out to capture imagery that typically falls out of frame. With a new image pipeline that performs over a trillion operations per photo, semantic rendering and multiscale tone mapping highlight the nuances of every image, whether you’re capturing perfect portraits or vast landscapes.
Night mode automatically detects changes in lighting, so vibrant colors always shine through. Each lens captures 4K at up to 60 fps and 120 fps in slo-mo. All of this amounts to the highest quality video for a smartphone. For the first time, the slo-mo video can even be captured by the front-facing selfie camera.
The iPhone 11 is powered by the A13 Bionic, the fastest chip ever in a smartphone, which means that the iPhone 11 can handle its increased performance all while offering extended battery life that lasts an hour longer than the iPhone XR.
The Apple iPhone 11 will be available in standard finishes along with new options, such as purple, green, yellow, red, black and the quintessential white for $699.
