Chinese electronics manufacturer Anker has led the field in portable charging stations, but the brand’s full range of electronic goods is considerably more diverse. The latest announcement from the company adds a new portable Bluetooth speaker to their product line, with the launch of the Anker Soundcore Motion X500.

Another in the brand’s line of Motion portable speakers, the Anker Soundcore Motion X500 represents a scaled-down version of their seminal Motion X600, that nevertheless retains the crisp and vibrant sound quality of its bigger brother. Available in black, blue, and pink, it’s a compact portable speaker complete with a handy integrated carry handle for ease of carrying.

The three-channel sound emitted from the Soundcore Motion X500 presents a surprisingly sharp and well-rounded sound considering its small size. This is thanks to the inclusion of an intelligent spatial audio engine, which uses Anker’s soundcore algorithm to deliver a truly immersive experience. Additional spatial clarity is added through the combination of two Estero channels with a third, up-firing Sky Channel, presenting a spacious soundstage whether you’re listening to classic music or rock and roll.

Compatible with the LDAC Bluetooth codec developed by electronics titan Sony, the Soundcore Motion X500 is capable of producing full high-resolution audio of up to 24-bit/96Hz, a feat that sets it apart from many of its closest Bluetooth speaker rivals. Add a series of LED lights capable of putting on a small-scale light show, and the Anker Soundcore Motion X500 is a speaker likely to shift significant units.
