Although BAPE has always been a premium streetwear brand, it’s colorful and somewhat flamboyant patterns have made past collections feel somewhat limiting for those with a more reserved taste in color and patterns.
The famed Japanese streetwear brand expands their collection in an effort to capture the more conservative side of streetwear while moving more upmarket with the introduction of A Bathing Ape Black. As the name suggests, the main color used for the new Spring/Summer 2015 collection is black with hints of gold thrown in. The full collection drops on March 29.
