Mercedes-Benz unveiled the updated GLC Coupe SUV for the 2024 model year. The fastback roofline SUV is slightly larger than its predecessor to accommodate the latest technology. In addition to the refreshed interior and exterior, the AMG Line package is now standard.
The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe is 1.2 inches longer than the outgoing model. As a result, it holds a slightly larger cargo area. New standard interior features include wireless phone charging, heated seats, and a Burmester 3D surround-sound audio system. On the outside, the reshaped headlights and taillights are now sharper and narrower, as if they’ve been pulled back cosmetically.
Highlight features on the 2024 GLC Coupe is the latest MBUX infotainment system that joins a 12.3-inch digital instrument gauge and an 11.9-inch touchscreen (angled slightly towards the driver). Based on press photos, the screens look like two iPads glued to the dashboard.
For performance, the GLC Coupe uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated with a 48-volt hybrid system to generate 255 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft of torque. The mild hybrid drivetrain sends its power through a nine-speed automatic transmission to turn the SUV’s 4Matic all-wheel-drive system. Pricing details are expected to be released when the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe arrives at your local dealership later in the year.
