Lamborghini gave a fortunate few a chance to get some all-terrain hands-on experience in the updated 2023 Lamborghini Urus S at the fourth edition of Esperienza Terra. This event is a scenic long-distance test drive that takes Lamborghini’s guests on a nearly 100-mile journey exploring Mount Etna with the south of Italy as the backdrop.
According to Lamborghini, the Esperienza Terra event spanned over 12 days, with professional drivers guiding guests through the varying terrain. Over the 99-mile trip, guests got to experience unique driving opportunities like getting sideways in a Lamborghini Urus S in a private quarry. In the spirit of a grand tour, hotel stays included lavish dining venues and an incredible modern art experience by Italian artist Alessandro Florio.
Jealousy aside, the purpose of the Esperienza Terra is to showcase the versatility of the 2023 Lamborghini Urus S luxury and performance. The Urus S features the same engine upgrades as the Urus Performante but with an extra 104 pounds of luxury, like adaptive air suspension. However, even with the added weight, the Urus S delivers a top speed of 190 mph.
Furthermore, it can sprint from a dead stop to 124 mph in 12.5 seconds. Moreover, the Lamborghini Urus S features four drive modes for pavement and three for off-road. All of which were surely put to the test at the Esperienza Terra. Expect to see the lineup of the updated 2023 Lamborghini Urus S arriving at a raging bull dealership near you.
