At the start of this month, Stellantis unveiled a glimpse at the first-ever fully electric Jeep SUV as part of its Dare Forward 2030 strategy presentation. Details are still under wraps, with only two press photos released of the Jeep EV SUV. Based on the images, the new vehicle looks similar in size and shape to the current 2022 Jeep Compass. It looks like the EV Jeep will be a compact, road-focused SUV intended for urban commuting. However, we assume that it will offer some all-terrain capability given the name written on its front grille. This new electric Jeep is part of the brand’s mission of achieving “zero-emission freedom.”

What is confirmed is that the new Jeep EV will be released as a 2023 model, according to Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares. In addition to the 2023 Jeep EV, there will be two Jeep brand EVs: an off-road utility vehicle and a family SUV. Along with giving us a teaser of the 2023 Jeep EV, Stellantis also gave us a sneak peek at the Ram 1500 BEV scheduled to arrive next year. The teaser photos hide the vehicle in a cloak of darkness, revealing only the Ram 1500 BEV’s LED headlights and muscular flared fenders. More details on these vehicles are scheduled to be released within the upcoming months. In addition, Stellantis plans on releasing 75 battery-powered electric vehicles by 2030.
