Mercedes-AMG is giving the GT Coupe and Roadster a serious power bump for 2021. The 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 in 2021 Mercedes-AMG will have 54 more horsepower over the outgoing model. New engine specs are 523 hp and 494 pound-feet of torque, resulting in a zero to 60 time of 3.7 seconds and an increased top speed of 194 mph for the AMG Coupe and 193 mph for the AMG Roadster. Mercedes-AMG performance components like AMG Ride Control suspension, adaptive damping, composite brakes, and an electronic limited-slip differential now come as standard in 2021 models. New features include a lithium-ion starter battery and an additional “Race” drive mode.

Exclusive for the U.S. market is the 2021 Mercedes-AMG GT Stealth Edition. Available for both the coupe and roadster, the Stealth Edition is an appearance package that coats the interior and exterior in a sinister shade of badass. The radiator grille is dressed in black chrome, 19-inch front and 20-inch rear matte black Y-spoke wheels hide black brake calipers. A carbon-fiber roof is optional and exterior colors options included Obsidian Black metallic, Selenite Grey metallic, and design graphite Grey Magno. Inside a Stealth Edition coupe or roadster are a pair of AMG-performance seats dressed in black Nappa style leather with diamond quilting. The steering wheel is AMG with a black spokes, paddle shifters, and covered in Dinamica microfiber. Interior options do include carbon fiber, or what Mercedes-AMG calls black piano lacquer trim. Pricing for the Stealth Edition are set to be announced closer to 2021.
