The 2013 Aston Martin V12 Zagato Vantage was made to commemorate the 50th year of the Aston Martin-Zagato partnership. While rooted in the luxury car manufacturer’s illustrious past, it also reflects their bold steps into the future.

Based on the V12 Vantage, Zagato graced the British sports car with a sleek aluminum and carbon fiber body. While the proportions are unmistakably Aston Martin, the car still retains all the classic Zagato characteristics, such as short body overhangs, a double-bubble roof, and flared haunches. Once meticulously pieced together, the V12 Zagato Vantage has a paint job that required more than 100 hours to produce, while the handcrafted interior boasts handstitched Zagato logos in the headrests, and quilted seats and door panels.

Though it was originally built for the track, Aston Martin produced 61 of these vehicles for road use, due to its overwhelming popularity. The road cars incorporate many of the racing features, with a 120-liter endurance fuel tank, carbon-ceramic brakes, and lightweight materials to save weight across the car. It also sits on a race-tuned double-wishbone suspension and is powered by a powerful 6.0 liter V12 engine which produces 510 horsepower.

Currently on sale at Aston Martin of New England, this particular model has been barely driven with only 253 miles from new. It has also been legally imported and federalized for road use in the United States. It comes ready to roll in its Fiamma Red exterior, and lush Bitter Chocolate interior.
