The 21st of just 57 models ever produced, this 1993 BMW Alpina B12 5.7 Coupé was launched with a variation of the S70 V-12 engine from the CSi. The B12 bored out the engine to 5.7 liters for 37 extra hp. That allows the BMW to top out at over 185 mph. Unlike standard models, this vehicle has been upgraded with an Alpina Shift-Tronic gearbox and a six-speed manual transmission. Acquired from a private owner from Switzerland, this Alpina B12 has under 5,600 miles on its odometer.

This model procured by Sotheby’s has all the pristine hallmarks expected from an Alpina. Its brilliant blue paint job and trademark multi-spoke alloy wheels make it remove unmistakable out on the road.  The interior is wrapped in black leather throughout, with intricate Alpina Blue detailing sewn into the upholstery. Lot number 174 on the Sotheby’s auction block offers the opportunity to bid on one of the greatest achievements of BMW’s E31 range.
