Can a jigsaw puzzle be a work of art? If you’ve never considered this question before, one look at the work of Clemens Habicht should be enough to solicit a resounding “yes!” Previous puzzles by the exceptional illustrator, designer, and director include the incredible “100 Kites” and “100 Faces” as well as a series of pure color puzzles that consisted of 100, 1,000, and 5,000 individual pieces.
Habicht’s latest jigsaw puzzle release takes his interest in color to the next level by introducing pieces that change color depending on your particular angle of sight. This color-shifting perspective also takes overall puzzle difficulty to the next level, by making you constantly rethink each placement.
Printed in Poland, this puzzle is created using a lenticular lens, resulting in pieces that shimmer and constantly change brightness and hue until you physically lock them into place. Think blank or colorless puzzles are a challenge? Wait until you try this one.
