Inspired by the current bright, bold look of outdoor hiking sneakers and gear, along with 90s era clothing the newly launched Zodiac x Worn & Wound Super Sea Wolf Limited Edition marks the very first collaborative effort between two industry leaders. This new timepiece brings together unexpected textures and bold colors to create a unique-looking dive watch that is considered by some the “coolest dive watch of 2021.” It is the remaking of a classic drive watch through a modern, colorful lens, with a nod to retro favorites. Inside of the Zodiac x Worn & Wound Super Sea Wolf Limited Edition is the STP 3-13, Swiss-made automatic movement. It features 26-jewels, a customized date, swan-neck regulator, hand-winding, hacking seconds, a power reserve of 44hr, and a frequency of 28,800 bph.
The Super Sea Wolf Limited Edition 40mm stainless steel case is pretty similar to classic dive formulas, but it does reframe the shape a bit with several customized touches. The case is brushed, giving a more matte look to the squared-off nuts. Among the most eye-catching aspects of the timepiece is the bezel insert with its gray and cream (inspired by sneaker midsoles) splatter pattern. The hands are rendered in coral, blue, and mustard, always standing out against the gray below, while the date wheel is printed in bright teal, adding another point of contrast. Thanks to its unique design features, the Zodiac Super Sea Wolf is a watch bringing funky classic energy to a new modern timepiece. The whole look is finished off with a two-piece fabric strap which ensures the watch stays securely in place via Velcro closure. The two sides of the strap are different colors, gray and teal, adding yet another point of fun contrast. Be advised that the Zodiac x Worn & Wound Super Sea Wolf is limited to only 182 units.
