The Zenith Defy Extreme Carbon is an incredibly light, durable, and eye-catching timepiece that is bound to grab attention. Crafted in light (yet durable) titanium and carbon fiber, it is, in fact, the first-ever DEFY Extreme model in carbon fiber. The watch is inspired by Zenith’s partnership with EXTREME E, the international off-road racing series that explores extreme racing environments. The design principle behind the DEFY Extreme was to create a watch that could conceivably withstand the punishment experienced with racing in some of the most hostile environments on earth.
The DEFY Extreme Carbon is capped by a tinted sapphire dial showcasing the El Primero 21 automatic movement, a 1/100th of a second high-frequency automatic chronograph, and detailed with the colors from the electric rally races. The case, crown, and pushers are constructed from layered carbon fiber that is coupled with a titanium twelve-sided bezel and pusher protectors. The Zenith DEFY Extreme Carbon comes with a red rubber strap, a black rubber strap, and a black Velcro strap with a microblasted titanium triple folding clasp.
