Vacheron Constantin announced a striking new addition to its Traditionnelle collection, the Traditionnelle Complete Calendar. As one of the oldest Swiss watchmakers, Vacheron naturally takes great pride in its sense of tradition. As such, it named this collection ‘Traditionnelle’ since it represents a line “reminiscent of the watches made by the cabinotiers, the Geneva watchmakers, who plied their trade during the Age of Enlightenment”. With its 41mm case made from white gold and a triple-tone slate grey dial with a velvet finish, the Traditionnelle Complete Calendar is understated, yet elegant, combined with excellent legibility. The middle portion of the dial is finely grained and pale grey, while the minute track is a dark grey, with the date ring concentrically brushed. The calendar discs and date pointer hand are dark grey, which enables them to blend perfectly into the dial.
The Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Complete Calendar is powered by the In-house caliber 2460 QCL/1, which consists of 308 parts, offering a 40-hour power reserve and fitted with a 22 karat, skeletonized oscillating weight featuring the Maltese Cross. The movement is equipped with a stop-seconds function, as well as a precision moon phase and it can be admired through the sapphire crystal insert in the gold caseback. The finishing touch on this stunning watch is the black alligator strap with a white gold Ardillon buckle.
