UNIMATIC, Milan revealed a 100-piece limited edition UNIMATIC x SOUTH PARK Modello Uno ref. U1-EC, celebrating the Emmy Awards and South Park’s twenty-fifth season. This limited edition Modello Uno ref. U1-EC features a solid 316 brushed stainless-steel case, with a 2mm (about 0.08 in) thick case back and 8mm diameter crown, high-quality water-resistant gaskets tested to 300 meters, and a black aluminum bezel insert, with a matte white dial. It boasts the enraged face of Eric Cartman, the gritty South Park leading character in his iconic turquoise beanie.
Additionally, the turquoise motif continues with details on the minute, hour, and second hands and geometric shapes highlighting the watch’s Roman numerals. What’s more, the nubuck leather two-piece strap carries the turquoise colorway to complete the design. Plus, there’s an extra black heavy-duty nylon NATO strap with brushed stainless-steel hardware signed by UNIMATIC.
The company guarantees the UNIMATIC x SOUTH PARK Modello Uno ref. U1-EC’s timing accuracy with its NH35A automatic movement tuned to 21600bph. It provides a 41h power reserve and a hacking second hand. UNIMATIC says this timepiece reflects South Park’s legacy of the right to speak one’s mind and approach difficult subjects head-on.
