UNIMATIC has partnered with Kiton New Textures (KNT), an urbanwear company based in Italy, to design the UNIMATIC x KNT Modello Quattro U4S-KNT. This new timepiece, the first Modello Quattro slim reference produced by UNIMATIC, is powered by the automatic caliber Sellita SW2001 Swiss movement tuned to 28,800bph with a 38-hour power reserve and hacking second-hand. The watch is described by the two brands as “a minimal and sport style, with a distinctive and ultra-modern shape, almost conceived as a design piece.” The Modello Quattro U4S-KNT is an exclusive limited edition of 120 pieces, which will officially go on sale on Monday, October 31st.
The 40mm DLC black brushed finish solid 316 stainless steel case has a screwed-in 2mm thick caseback, and an 8mm crown together with high-quality gaskets that provide water resistance tested to 300 meters. The striking dial displays time thanks to the matching phantom ladder handset and the reverse lollipop second hand with Super-LuminiNova® BL KNT bluetip. Providing optimal viewing in all light conditions is the double-domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The UNIMATIC x KNT Modello Quattro U4S-KNT arrives on a KNT blue custom TPU two-piece strap with black DLC brushed hardware. Also included are five extra straps in black, vinaccia, giallo ginestra, and international orange. The caseback features a ‘UNIMATIC x KNT’ engraving and the watch’s individual number.
