If you want a brutally minimalist diver, you can’t do much better than the microbrand Unimatic. Now, you can also have a chronograph function in your Unimatic diver.
Unimatic’s Modello Uno (and its variations) being the dive watch and Modello Due (with its respective variations) being the field watch, Modello Tre is the chronograph diver of the bunch. Heavily borrowing cues from its Modello Uno, the Unimatic Modello Tre Chronograph is an attractive and decently chunky watch with the instantly recognizable signature black bezel and 300m of water resistance.
With dimensions of 41.5mm bezel (40mm case) and 13.7mm thickness, Modello Tre features a Seiko mecha-quartz movement, unidirectional dive bezel, screw-down crown and chrono pushers, and thick double domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The watch comes on black Horween Cordovan Shell strap.
The brushed steel U3-A is limited to 600 pieces, while the DLC coated U3-AN is limited to 300. And with the fairly affordable price tag, especially for a limited watch, you really can’t go wrong.
