The body comes in either maple or antique brown finish and looks as if it’s inverted the conventional neck of an acoustic guitar. Removing this hunk of the guitar trims the weight all the way down to 14 oz. It also makes it far more durable and easier to carry.
The Traveler Guitar Ultra-Light Acoustic can be played on its own, or it can be plugged into an amp when you want to fill a room with music. The tuning pegs are built into the neck of the guitar, so instead of these pegs being exposed to the elements, they are surrounded by a wooden barrier. This not only helps keep your guitar from being knocked out of tune, but it helps trim its size as well. A lap rest comes along with it to play without a strap attached but without the cumbersome hollow body of a conventional acoustic guitar. The Traveler Guitar Ultra-Light Acoustic can also plug into an amp by way of an output jack embedded within the strap pin on the tail end.
