Timex and designer Todd Snyder have enjoyed a long-running collaboration, delivering a number of watches across a range of different models. The latest release, Timex x Todd Snyder Q Timex, sees Snyder once again tackle a Q Timex. The last time the designer partnered with Timex to work his magic on a Q model was last year with the release of the Todd Snyder x Timex Q Bracelet Watch. To change things up this time around, Snyder shifted the color of the dial from stark black to a cool cream hue. “I’ve always loved the Q series,” states Snyder. “They’re beautiful mid-century watches that date back to a time when quartz technology was changing the industry. And I wanted to design one that was slightly more of a take on a hybrid dress watch and an off-duty one.”

The bracelet on the Timex x Todd Snyder Q Timex also represents a departure from other Q models which feature a woven style. This new bracelet is exceptionally thin and features wide links that are brushed with polished bevels. The look complements the case and allows for some pleasing light play.  Apart from the bracelet and the color of the dial, most of the beloved features of the Q Timex, like the functional battery hatch, rotating bezel, illuminant hands, day-date feature, and domed acrylic crystal, have been maintained.
