With the launch of the Dalmore Luminary Series 2025 Edition, the third chapter in the distillery’s collection, lovers of fine whiskeys have two new options to add to their drinks cabinet. Reflecting the harmony of tradition and creative innovation, it includes the Rare and Collectible editions, which whiskey fans will appreciate.

The Dalmore Luminary Series 2025 Edition has been made by the brand’s leading whiskey makers, Gregg Glass, a Master Whisky Maker, and Richard Paterson OBE, a Master Distiller. This creative collaboration has also been conducted with architect and digital designer Ben Dobbin of Foster + Partners.

First up in the Dalmore Luminary Series 2025 Edition – The Rare edition, a 52-year-old whiskey presented in a stylish and refined decanter and sculpture. Its architectural inspiration is reflected in its appearance of suspension in time, balancing tension and integrity.

The Rare edition blends baked apples and sugared almonds with soft wood spices for the whiskey. The palate has caramel, apple crumble, and dark chocolate hints, delivering a robust and complex flavor profile. Switch to the Collectible edition and taste buds experience a unique combination of butterscotch, red apples, and licorice, elevated by subtle notes of cardamom.

The presentation of the Collectible Edition is equally impressive, continuing the sculptural aesthetic seen with the more limited Rare edition. The Dalmore Luminary Series 2025 Edition reflects the distillery’s high standards of whiskey-making artistry, delivering a full-sensory experience for whiskey aficionados.
The Rare is offered at auction by Sotheby’s and closes May 16. It is open worldwide, with select events in London and Hong Kong. All proceeds go to V&A Dundee, Scotland’s Design Museum. Members of The Dalmore Guild will have exclusive early access to purchase The Luminary No.3 – 2025 Edition—The Collectible starting on May 12, 2025, ahead of its general release on May 14.
