Whether you’re indulging your insatiable wanderlust or just want to be able to get away from the chaos of city living at a moment’s notice, the TAXA Cricket Camper Trailer provides an easy escape. The compact camper was inspired by NASA engineering for a lightweight design that doesn’t sacrifice any amenities. At just 1,800 lbs, the 15′ long x 6’7″ wide trailer can be towed by many four-cylinder vehicles. The powder-coated steel chassis the camper is built upon is equipped with 15″ steel wheels with all-terrain tires so taking the camper into uncharted territory is no challenge.
Inside, the camper takes advantage of every inch of space by using under-bed storage and a pop-up table and roof. When it’s stationary, expanding all those features provides an extra 2’8″ of interior height, which can be easily condensed to get you back on the road at a moment’s notice.
The sheer amount of space inside the Cricket allows it to be customized with any of several available options including a portable toilet, Dometic refrigerator, and 5,000 BTU window-mounted air conditioner. Those options add onto a robust range of standard features including a large cafe table, full-size bed and Dometic stove and sink which are powered by two 20 lb liquid propane tanks and a Truma furnace and water heater. 12V USB outlets, interior LED lighting, and non-slip nickel patterned flooring make the interior a haven from the rugged outdoors.
