Nestled amidst the lush greenery of São Miguel do Gostoso on the enchanting Brazilian Atlantic coast,  Sussurro House by Davide Andracco Architetto stands as a testament to architectural harmony. Designed by the acclaimed Italian architect, Davide Andracco, this residence seamlessly blends contemporary innovation with a profound respect for the natural surroundings, making it an ideal abode for an Italo-Brazilian family seeking both elegance and comfort.

Spanning an impressive 283 square meters within an 1100 square meter plot, the Sussurro House is strategically oriented east-west to harness the full potential of natural light and refreshing trade wind ventilation. The house’s layout is thoughtfully divided into three distinct zones, each contributing to the overall aesthetic and functionality.

The heart of the home lies in the spacious living room, complete with an island kitchen designed to encourage family interaction. Boasting a lofty 3.6-meter ceiling, this space prioritizes comfort and conviviality while seamlessly extending to a veranda that overlooks a garden adorned with native flora, seamlessly blurring the lines between indoors and outdoors.

The second zone houses services and installations, distinguished by varying heights and adorned with local stone cladding. In contrast, the third sector comprises three suites with bathrooms and an additional room, ensuring privacy and independence. This upper-level sleeping area capitalizes on natural sunlight and provides a distinct presence in the surrounding landscape.

Sussurro House by Davide Andracco Architetto displays architectural brilliance that extends to the minutest details, from strategically positioned openings for solar protection to sculptural staircases, elevated handmade iron frames, 60 cm thick double-layer walls for insulation, and elegant grey micro-cement floors.

A remarkable external stone volume, reminiscent of Andracco’s Mediterranean roots, adds a captivating contrast to the overall design, housing bathroom windows and technical installations that blend harmoniously with the landscape.

Topping it all off, a flat roof and a panoramic terrace offer breathtaking vistas of the surroundings. With exposed beams and a veranda seamlessly extending the living space, Casa Sussurro is an architectural masterpiece that emphasizes essentiality, innovation, and a unique living experience, reflecting Davide Andracco’s extraordinary skill in crafting spaces that harmonize with the environment.
