LeBron James Rocks ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’ Official Trailer

It’s Tunes versus Goons in the highest-stakes challenge of his life that will redefine LeBron’s bond with his son.

Warner Bros. Pictures has just released its ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’ Official Trailer starring none other than NBA champion LeBron James along with a host of the Looney Tunes cast. “King” James takes center stage in the sequel in place of Michael Jordan who starred in the 1996 film, ‘Space Jam.’ The trailer shows James embarking on an epic adventure alongside the timeless Bugs Bunny. This transformational journey is a wild mashup of two worlds that reveals just how far some parents will go to connect with their kids. When LeBron and his young son Dom are trapped in digital space by a rogue A.I. (played by Don Cheadle), LeBron must get them home safely by leading Bugs, Lola Bunny, and the whole gang of notoriously undisciplined Looney Tunes to victory over the A.I.’s digitized champions on the court – it is a powered-up roster of professional basketball stars as you’ve never seen them before.

There is a scene in the trailer that includes an NBA reference to the iconic photo of LeBron and Dwyane Wade connecting on an alley-oop. Only this time, Lola Bunny is making the assist. James stars alongside Khris Davis (‘Judas and the Black Messiah,’ TV’s ‘Atlanta’), Sonequa Martin-Green (TV’s ‘The Walking Dead,’ newcomer Cedric Joe, Jeff Bergman (‘Looney Tunes Cartoons), and Eric Bauza (Looney Tunes Cartoons’). ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’ was produced on a budget of over 180 million dollars and will be released in theaters on July 16th, with HBO Max subscribers also being able to access the film via their accounts for a month.

For other upcoming film releases, check out ‘Black Widow’, starring Scarlett Johansson.
