Singer Reimagined recently unveiled the Singer Reimagined SKLT Edition Track 1. This rare timepiece highlights Singer’s engineering and mastery of precious materials and features a new skeleton dial. Singer says the SKLT Edition Track 1 celebrates the engineering of the company’s signature 60-hour chronograph, by allowing the exposure of the previously hidden movement with the skeletonized dial. This elegant timepiece has a structural chassis, allowing the dial to reveal Singer’s signature minutes wheel and the automatic rotor below. Singer pays attention to minor details such as adding a golden finish to the minutes wheel.
The 43mm case of the Singer Reimagined SKLT Edition Track 1 is crafted from 18k yellow gold and is fitted to a textile strap with DLC coated grade 5 titanium rivets. What’s more, the watch’s outer edge boasts rotating ceramic hours and minutes discs with engraved numbers and a golden finish against a matte black base. Other details include a tachymetric scale and dial flange, with black numbers against a brushed golden backdrop. Additionally, Singer created a 3-D metal carved nameplate that floats over the watch’s movement. A suspended transparent sapphire ring, riveted to the watch’s chassis, holds and displays all chronograph functions. Plus, there are five alternating, hand-applied finishes highlighting the watch’s dynamic shapes. Singer says they also sand-blasted the strap housing for functional durability. The Singer Reimagined SKLT Edition Track 1 is an extremely limited edition of 15 numbered timepieces.
