Sharpie Draws Up De’Aaron Fox’s Next UA Capsule

Hand-drawn “Swipa” graphics give Under Armour’s Fox 2 and matching apparel a genuinely personal line.

Signature basketball shoes often arrive overdesigned; De’Aaron Fox’s latest begins with something disarmingly simple—a black marker. Sharpie and Under Armour have built a limited capsule around Fox’s own hand-drawn “Swipa” artwork, turning an everyday creative tool into the collection’s visual system.

The centerpiece is the D. Fox 2 x Sharpie, accompanied by graphic T-shirts, hoodies, and shorts in adult and youth sizing. Rather than pasting a familiar logo onto an existing shoe, the collaboration uses loose black linework across the upper and apparel, reflecting the sketches Fox has made since childhood. That personal authorship gives the capsule more substance than the usual athlete-brand crossover.

Underneath the drawing-board treatment, the Fox 2 remains a performance basketball model built around quick changes of direction. Its low-profile form, sculpted sidewalls, and broad outsole keep the silhouette athletic, while the monochrome graphics make it wearable beyond the court.

Within the wider field of performance footwear, the restraint is the point: the marker strokes add identity without obscuring the shoe’s functional geometry. Matching pieces extend the same visual language without turning the set into a uniform.

The D. Fox 2 x Sharpie launches July 23 exclusively through Under Armour’s U.S. site for $130. The accompanying shirts, hoodies, and shorts release at the same time, with individual apparel pricing listed at launch.
