The new Serica 6190 TXD proves that restraint can be just as expressive as excess. With this latest release, Serica introduces a refined black-and-beige “tuxedo” dial that brings fresh elegance to its dress-leaning 6190 lineup—without compromising the brand’s utilitarian DNA.

Housed in the familiar 37.7mm stainless steel case, the 6190 TXD keeps its slim 10.4mm profile (including the double-domed sapphire crystal) and compact 46.5mm lug-to-lug measurement. Brushed and polished surfaces highlight the twisted lugs and robust bezel, creating visual depth while maintaining a vintage-inspired silhouette. Despite its refined appearance, this Serica remains a serious tool, boasting 200 meters of water resistance and a choice of screw-down crown placement at either 3 or 9 o’clock.

Inside beats the automatic Soprod M100, a COSC-certified chronometer operating at 28,800 vph with a 42-hour power reserve. Accuracy is tightly regulated, while the movement remains discreetly hidden behind a brushed caseback with Geneva striping.

The real story, however, is the dial. The black-and-beige layout replaces faux patina with crisp, hand-applied white indices, giving the watch a cleaner, more contemporary feel. Broad Arrow hands enhance legibility, while elongated five-minute markers subtly tighten the dial’s visual balance. As always, branding is minimal—just chronometer and water-resistance text—letting design do the talking. The result is a watch that feels smarter, sharper, and unmistakably Serica.
