Watch-giant Seiko has just announced a new member to the famous Speedtimer line. The latest edition is part of the Prospex collection, which is expanding with each new Seiko release. The Seiko Prospex SRQ043 timepiece is an automatic watch featuring a no-nonsense design, with a column wheel and a vertical clutch. Designed for people who want a practical watch with the longevity and quality Seiko carries, this timepiece is sure to turn heads.
The new Seiko Prospex SRQ043 timepiece is 42.5mm in diameter and has a steel case. Measured lug to lug, the watch is 50mm and is 15.1mm thick. The case is complimented by the steel bracelet coated with Seiko’s patented Super-Hard coating making the watch extra durable. The SRQ043 model also has an included leather strap which can be quickly changed. Powered by the 8R46 movement, this watch stays automatically wound. With a power reserve of a whopping 45 hours, the Seiko Prospex SRQ043 features a two-register layout and the ability to measure a maximum of 30 minutes. With a transparent case back, the Speedtimer is clearly visible, placing this watch at the high end of the Prospex collection.
