SeaVees has been on the cutting edge of the casual sneaker movement since the 1960s. Its SeaVees Wilder Sneakers are lace-up sneakers with a simple, timeless look. According to SeaVees company legacy, in 1969, BF Goodrich sold the brand along with Jack Purcell and PF Flyers to Converse Rubber Company. The brand went dormant for around 40 years until its rediscovery in 2005 when shoe designer and entrepreneur Steven Tiller discovered a pair of vintage SeaVees sneakers in a second-hand store in Tokyo.
