The Buenos Aires-based nautical sports bag manufacturer Mafia launched with a mission to create the perfect bag to transport of wetsuits from home to plane to beach and back again. The company’s latest release, however, draws inspiration from much further away. Made by Mafia for Adam Savage’s (from MythBusters) Savage Industries, the EDC TWO Tool Bag is smaller and more affordable than its predecessor EDC ONE, but still incorporates the same design elements as the bag that accompanied Neil Armstrong on his historic journey to the moon. Known among astronauts as the McDivitt Purse, Armstrong’s small white bag was one of many that were specifically designed to keep gear close at hand while simultaneously preventing it from flying around in zero gravity.
Mafia quite rightfully reasoned that any bag that could perform under the rigors of life in outer space will easily exceed your expectations as an everyday carry bag, The Savage Industries EDC TWO Tool Bag features a spring steel supported clamshell mouth to protect anything that you need to take along with you.
