Most trail watches stop caring about design once the GPS locks on. The SATISFY COROS APEX 4 treats what happens between runs as part of the brief, giving proven mountain hardware a more considered interface and material finish.

This is SATISFY’s first hardware release and COROS’s first collaboration with an apparel brand. It is not a mechanical upgrade to the standard APEX 4. Instead, the 46mm case receives a crystallized black titanium bezel, metallic black controls, an engraved caseback, and sapphire glass over its 1.3-inch always-on Memory-in-Pixel touchscreen. A khaki jacquard nylon strap handles everyday wear, while the included green silicone band is intended for wet conditions and harder efforts.

SATISFY’s more meaningful work appears on-screen. Three exclusive faces separate physical condition, environmental data, and weekly training into distinct views, reducing the temptation to crowd every metric onto one display. Three downloadable workouts developed with ultrarunner Stian Sommerseth address hill efficiency, critical velocity, and long-run tempo.
The underlying COROS APEX 4 retains dual-frequency GPS, global maps with turn-by-turn navigation, a dual-range barometer, speaker and microphone, 5 ATM water resistance, and up to 65 hours of All-Systems GPS tracking. It weighs 51 grams on the nylon strap and charges fully in under two hours.
The limited SATISFY COROS APEX 4 launches August 21 at 10 a.m. ET for $520 through SATISFY and COROS, with purchases limited to one per customer.
