The rise of more affordable laser projectors offers consumers a viable alternative to traditional televisions when looking for giant screens with precise color accuracy and deep black reproductions presented by OLED displays. Samsung’s new lineup presents two ultra-short throw laser projectors that continue this tech trend for the ultimate home cinema viewing experience.
The Samsung Premiere 9 & Premiere 7 Projectors offer 4K images combined with immersive audio that competes with the best OLED sets, with triple laser technology delivering bright, vibrant colors for video games and movies. Capable of projecting images onto a screen of up to 130 inches, each projector supports HDR10+ and provides a maximum brightness of 3,450 ISO lumens for the Premiere 9 and 2,500 ISO lumens for the Premiere 7.
Additional features include the integration of Samsung’s AI Upscaling and Vision Booster technology, which enhances images and upscales non-4K media to 4K resolution. Each version comes fitted with Dolby Atmos technology for state-of-the-art home theater audio, with 40W 2.2.2 channel up-firing speakers integrated into the Premiere 9 and 30W 2.2ch speakers in the Premiere 7.
Fully compatible with a range of streaming services and with an integrated Gaming Hub, the Samsung Premiere 9 and Premiere 7 Projectors have been designed as a single entertainment solution, removing the need for external devices through full cloud-based integration. This extends to the functionality of a smart speaker for music streaming, operated via voice control, for a hands-free user experience.
With the Custom Ambient feature allowing for customization around home decor, the Samsung Premiere 9 and Premiere 7 Projectors offer the complete home entertainment package combined with impressive aesthetics. The Premiere 7 retails for $3,000, while the Premiere 9 doubles that to $6,000. Both models are now available at samsung.com and select retailers.
