The Auto Fabrica Type 11 isn’t just a motorcycle; it’s a work of art. The project pushes the envelope on both craftsmanship and conceptual boundaries. Auto Fabrica has long been known for their style, but this project puts their design and production abilities on display with their most progressive and fascinating motorcycle to date.
Three Type 11 prototypes were created to add to the project’s evolution. The innovative Yamaha 900cc Triple is at the foundation, with the other two models following suit. The third prototype, created in homage to the classic Yamaha 750cc Triple, takes a more traditional design approach.
The Type 11 Prototype One is a full concept race and track focused design that applies industrial practices to progressive engineering and technological advancements. An elegant handmade aluminum tank and fairing are focal points of the Prototype One’s body, wrapping the front fairing into the tank.
The Type 11 Prototype Two uses the same structure, form, and integrity of the Prototype One by blending it into necessary road requirements. The Prototype Two blends all the conceptual ideas, color, and materials into a functional bike. The headlight is a standout feature that evolves the more classically silhouetted form into a more progressive design approach.
Finally, the Type 11 Prototype Three is constructed in the design language and approach of previous Auto Fabrica models. It is elegantly sculptured in a way that celebrates its organic minimalism. It is handmade from aluminum and made on the structure and mechanics of a traditional motorcycle with the bike’s form following its function.
