Ricoh has unveiled its latest offerings in the realm of compact cameras with the introduction of the RICOH GR III HDF & RICOH GR IIIx HDF Digital Compact Cameras. These premium digital compact cameras come equipped with a newly developed Highlight Diffusion Filter (HDF), setting a new standard in image expression.
The HDF incorporated in these models softens light sources and diffuses highlights, resulting in more expressive images with a profound sense of depth and emotion. This innovative feature, which can be easily toggled on and off, provides users with the flexibility to seamlessly switch between two distinct visual expressions – from crisp, sharply focused images to softer, more emotive captures.
Designed to cater to the discerning needs of both amateur enthusiasts and seasoned professionals, the GR III HDF and GR IIIx HDF cameras inherit the exceptional image quality, ease of operation, and portability that the GR series is renowned for. According to Ken Curry, president of Ricoh Imaging Americas Corporation, these new models offer users a fresh creative avenue to push the boundaries of snapshot photography.
Scheduled for release in April, the RICOH GR III HDF & RICOH GR IIIx HDF Digital Compact Cameras will be available at authorized retail outlets and online, with a price of $1,070 and $1,150 respectively.
