When the bag manufacturer heard that Radiohead’s own Thom Yorke wanted to create a bag in tune with the band’s socially conscious and sustainable practices they jumped at the chance. As part of Millican’s Blank Canvas Projects the bag is part of a set of collaborations with people that bring positive vibes and impacts to their respective fields of work.
In a nod to their sustainability achievements, Radiohead’s bag for Millican has been produced out of 40 recycled plastic bottles coated with a waterproof treatment, a perfect blank canvas for creation. Released to coincide with Radiohead’s 2017 tour, the bag features artwork that brings to life the cover art from the band’s latest album “A Moon Shaped Pool.” With a monochromatic, galactic scene the design is as technologically sophisticated and strikingly mellow as Radiohead’s characteristic sound.
The roll pack is just as functional as it is striking. The slim line, easy roll main compartment packs in up to 18 liters of your treasured items. An easy to reach external laptop sleeve keeps up to 15 inches of laptop safe. A second external zip pocket conceals valuables for safe keeping.
