A charging case that can listen without the earbuds is an unusual place to start, but it explains why the Plaud One is more than another pair of wireless headphones. Plaud’s first earbuds turn calls, online meetings, and room conversations into a single stream of context for its AI agent.

Each earbud captures calls and meetings from up to 6.6 feet away, while the case handles in-person conversations at distances up to 16.4 feet. An integrated 4G LTE eSIM lets the system upload recordings without leaning on a nearby phone. The agent can then build notes, documents, and action items, with planned connections to Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack, Notion, and MCP-compatible tools.

That independence separates Plaud One from conventional wearable audio. The earbuds also support calls, active noise cancellation, and LDAC playback, but the hardware is clearly organized around capture: the earbuds and standalone case record continuously for up to six and 25 hours, respectively.

Music playback reaches six hours with ANC off, or 36 hours with the case. The physical controls and visible recording indicators are sensible, although consent and workplace policy remain essential whenever conversations are retained.

Plaud is offering 2,000 Explorer Edition units at $249.99, including $200 in Plaud credits. U.S. presales sold through their initial allocation; waitlist access remains open, with shipments planned for the fourth quarter of 2026.
