Pioneer’s founder, Henry LeFens, drew upon a long background as an industrial designer when first launching his technical apparel company. He originally manufactured ultra-high-strength wallets with obsessive attention to detail. Today, Pioneer has expanded its line to include a variety of travel luggage, backpacks, and pouches for professionals.
The new collection, the Pioneer Million Mile Travel Collection, introduces a quartet of travel backpacks that reflect the brand’s premium construction and fully rounded-functionality. Made with Pioneer’s bespoke super fabric, woven to endure long-haul flights and traveling, they incorporate twisted yarn ballistic nylon with a DWR finish and waterproof membrane.
The collection has three core packs, with the Duration, Savant, and Panda packs complemented by an extra-large global pouch for optimal storage options. The Duration pack offers a compact yet rugged pack with features, from the heavy-duty strap and removable handle grip to the padded laptop pocket for city commuters.
This commuter-friendly design approach continues with the Savant pack, which has a sleek and minimalist exterior that belies its many compartments and easy access to pockets. For more seasoned travelers, the Panda variant adds additional storage compartments while retaining the carry-on compliance that unifies the Pioneer Million Mile Travel Collection.
Last but by no means least, the Global Pouch XL is a catch-all travel organizer that holds anything from tech to toothbrushes. It replicates the build and materials of its bigger brothers, with a locking YKK AquaGuard zipper delivering security and peace of mind.
