Panerai has expanded its 44mm Submersible lineup with the PAM01756, a steel dive watch that gives the collection a more integrated bracelet format without sanding down its instrument-watch character. The new reference pairs Panerai’s familiar oversized case language with a polished and brushed steel bracelet equipped with the brand’s Quick Length Adjustment system, allowing the bracelet to extend by 2mm on each side without tools.

The case measures 44mm and is made from brushed stainless steel, with Panerai’s signature crown-protecting bridge on the right side. A unidirectional rotating steel bezel surrounds the dial and carries a polished blue ceramic insert with a graduated scale, adding scratch resistance and a sharper color break against the black sun-brushed dial. The no-date layout keeps the face clean, with luminous hour markers, dots, and a small seconds display positioned at 9 o’clock.

Inside, the PAM01756 runs on Panerai’s automatic P.980 calibre. The movement measures 12½ lignes and 4.2mm thick, uses 23 jewels, and beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour. It also includes an Incabloc anti-shock device, a stop-seconds function, and a three-day power reserve from a single barrel. In other words, the bracelet is the headline, but the spec sheet remains properly Submersible.
Water resistance is rated to 50 bar, or approximately 500 meters, with Panerai noting that the watch is tested beyond its guaranteed depth. The screwed stainless steel caseback and substantial 204-gram weight reinforce the model’s tool-watch stance, while the bracelet’s design takes inspiration from the brand’s crown-protecting bridge. Priced at $13,200, the PAM01756 is a more urban-leaning Submersible, but still very much built around Panerai’s diving vocabulary.
