Panerai’s Luna Rossa watches usually emphasize nautical equipment; the latest pair finds a sharper line through silver surfaces and restrained red details. The Luminor Luna Rossa GMT PAM01791 and Chrono PAM01768 extend the brand’s partnership with the Italian America’s Cup team in two distinct formats.

The GMT uses a 40mm steel case and becomes the first Luna Rossa model fitted to a steel bracelet. Its silver sun-brushed sandwich dial sits over white Super-LumiNova X2, with a red-tipped second-time-zone hand.

Panerai’s automatic P.900/GMT caliber displays the second zone on a 12-hour basis and provides a three-day power reserve. Water resistance is 100 meters.

The 44mm Luminor Luna Rossa Chrono PAM01768 adds left-side pushers, a tachymeter scale, and red accents around the pushers and chronograph hands. Its P.9210 automatic movement runs at 4Hz with a 42-hour reserve.

A waterproof elastic Velcro strap debuts here, with a rubber alternative included. Production is limited to 500 pieces. Both models’ cleaner metallic treatment contrasts with the darker military character of the Panerai Submersible Navy SEALs PAM01738.
The GMT is priced at $11,400, while the limited chronograph costs $11,500. Both are available now through Panerai boutiques and authorized channels.
